Rudhrama Devi, Anushka's upcoming telugu film. Anushka has been advised to lose 10 to 15 kg for the film to look perfect. Rudhramadevi is being directed and produced by Gunasekhar, and Anushka will essay the role of Rani Rudhrama Devi of Kakatiya dynasty. Anushka is dubbing her own voice with huge dialogues in this movie. This is film is also creating in 3D works.
The film also casts Rana Daggubati, Aditi Chengappa, Vikramjeet Virk, Nathalia Kaur, Hamsa Nandhini, Prakash Raj, Baba Shegal, Krishnam Raju, Ahuti Prasad, Jayaprakash Reddy Adithya Menon and many more. The music was composed by Ilayaraja and cinematography by Ajay Vincent. Anushka also busy with the shooting of another period dram Baahubali with SS Rajamouli direction.
